Why we exist
Smallholder farmers do the hardest work in the food chain and keep the smallest share of the value. FarmConnect removes the layers of middlemen so farmers set their own prices and customers pay less for fresher produce.
How quality is protected
Farmers cannot publish directly. Every product they upload enters a pending queue where an administrator reviews the details, price and photographs. Only approved listings are visible to customers; rejected listings come back with a written reason so the farmer can fix and resubmit.
Who uses FarmConnect
- Customers browse, search, add to cart, check out and track orders.
- Farmers list produce, manage stock and receive orders.
